8413101 Pulsed Smoke Generator (DC)

84,95

The pulsed smoke generator can be operated in a standalone smoke or diesel mode. It offers a direct track feed and integrated decoder to operate with any NMRA/DCC compatible digital control system. An additional decoder is not required any more. In combination with a hall sensor (steam locomotive) and SUSI bus connection (diesel locomotive) this pulsed smoke generator can easily equip almost any type of loco. For the first time, the smoke generator is now again available as an analog version and operates at a starting voltage of 6 volt. In case of a system change the analog heating element can be replaced by the digital heating element (programming required). Of course both smoke generator types are available as a Massoth product. A filling volume of 4cm³ to max. 6cm³ is suggested. It can easily be dosed with a pipette (comes with the smoke and cleaning fluid 8412501).

Description

The newly developed pulsed smoke unit now has decisive advantages:

Fully integrated decoder
CV programming
POM Programming
Direct rail connection
Massoth and SUSI bus
Improved Analog Functionality
Parallel function triggering

The Pulsed Smoke Unit can be easily retrofitted:
A clock-controlled smoke unit that can be retrofitted in many locomotives.
It impresses with the steam output generated synchronously to the piston stroke. At just 0.2 (0.7 with analogue) ampere power consumption, it generates a comparable amount of steam.
What is special about this smoke unit:
It can be operated in steam or diesel locomotive mode by means of a dip switch. The clock for synchronising the smoke unit can be taken over by a clock generator or directly by an eMOTION decoder (driving decoder or sound decoder).
Possible settings via CV for many extras, such as fan speeds in different locomotive states, preheating of heating element and time delay.

The analogue version is suitable for locomotives in analogue operation.
Current consumption approx. 0.7 Ampere.
